Lucas Matthysse will now fight Mike Dallas Jr in Las Vegas on January 26 after his original opponent pulled out.

Matthysse will defend the WBC's interim light-welterweight strap against 26-year-old Dallas (19-2-1) after Hank Lundy withdrew.

The heavy-handed Argentinian has claimed 30 of his 32 wins by stoppage while his defeats to Devon Alexander and Zab Judah were controversial to say the least.

He has won all four fights since the Alexander loss inside the distance and he appears to be on course for a fight with 'full' WBC champ Danny Garcia, who takes on Judah in New York on February 9.

On the undercard at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino tough-as-teak Turk Selcuk Aydin comes up against rugged Mexican Jesus Soto Karass in a high-class 10-rounder.
