Danny Garcia: Happy to entertain a re-match with Amir Khan

Danny Garcia insists he is up for a re-match with Amir Khan - allthough it would be unlikely to take place in England.

And although the American said he had no influence over who he fights, he said he would 'definitely win' again if he fought Khan a second time.

"I know I'll definitely win the fight but it might not be that early this time."

Garcia stopped Khan in the fourth round of their clash earlier this year and will make his next defence of the WBC and WBA light-welterweight titles against former Khan victim Zab Judah in February.

"If the money's right then we'll definitely fight whenever and wherever," he said. "But it's up to what Golden Boy wants because I can say 'yeah let's do it' but really I have no control over it.

"I'm not the businessman in this team. I'm the athlete, the entertainer. I let my team do the business and I prepare for the fight."

Fast starter

Garcia admits he would not have the benefit of surprise should the two men meet again.

"I knew Khan was going to start our fight fast because he's a fast fighter - you can't take that away from him," he said.

"He has speed. But once I was able to see his punches and block and slip a few while landing my own shots, I knew it would be a turning point in the fight.

"I think he'll a bit more aware of it and more cautious this time because last time he was a little reckless.

"I know I'll definitely win the fight but it might not be that early this time."

And on a potential re-match in the UK, Garcia quipped: "Man, I don't know if I'd come back alive - they'd be waiting for me at the airport or they'll be waiting for my dad. I love you guys but I'm okay, thanks!

"If everything is right then we can do it."
