Larry 'The Natural' Ekundayo is set to drop down a weight division after storming to victory in Prizefighter - Light-middleweights on Saturday night.
Promoter Eddie Hearn paid tribute to final runner-up Terry Carruthers, who has been in with most of the UK's best light-middleweights and was fully deserving of a big payday. "A special mention for Terry Carruthers, what a warrior and sometimes that's what Prizefighter's all about," said Hearn. "He's come here tonight, made £16,000 and a name for himself. He was beaten by the better man but what a game performance. "Larry stopped him - we had to spend that money somehow, but he deserves it."
