Promoter Eddie Hearn is certain Kell Brook is in perfect condition to overcome Hector Saldivia on Saturday night and become mandatory IBF welterweight challenger.
Brook was given a rough ride by American Carson Jones last time out - but Hearn is confident the 26-year-old Sheffield fighter has learned valuable lessons ahead of taking on Argentina's Saldivia, live on Sky Sports.
The promoter said: "Mentally, he's in a great place. The preparation for this fight has been fantastic. We weren't pleased after the Carson Jones fight - we felt we needed to make some changes.
"We've now got a top nutritionist and a top strength and conditioning coach working with Dominic Ingle to make this the best Kell Brook we've ever seen. Everyone is chomping at the bit to see what he can do on Saturday night.
"We want Kell to be a pound-for-pound world champion. For that fight, he prepared like a British champion and he got found out stepping up in class. His preparation wasn't good enough. We don't tell any lies - that's the way it is and we needed those changes.
"We believe for this fight, Kell has prepared like a pound-for-pound world champion and we think that he can deliver a performance that warrants that title.
"It's all about what's at the end of the rainbow. This is a guaranteed shot at a world title as a mandatory challenger. A guaranteed shot at the winner of Randall Bailey v Devon Alexander. Saldivia has got everything to fight for.
"He's a dangerous fighter. He's had plenty of experience. He punches hard and comes to fight. He's going to meet Kell in the middle of the ring and it'll be an explosive fight.
"Everything both fighters have done in their career means nothing now because Saturday night is the ultimate test for both of them. The gold is on the line to become that mandatory challenger and both will want to take it with both hands."
