Mathews is keen on getting it on with Crolla again, whether it's within Prizefighter or in a 12-rounder for the British title again. "I'd worked so hard to get the belt but I got beat by a world class fighter, everybody knows how good he is," he said. "He's been a former world champion himself and he can move on to bigger and better things, and hopefully he can vacate the belt. "If me and Anthony don't meet again in Prizefighter maybe we can fight for the British title. I know Anthony wants it, I want it and the public wants to see the fight again." "I like having the home support, it's a big massive bonus but I've got to go out and perform to the best of my ability. It's going to be a hard competition to win." The event, which takes place at Liverpool Olympia, also incudes former British champion Gary Sykes plus Patrick Walsh, Stephen Jennings, Terry Flannigan, Tommy Coyle and Jamie Spence. Local light-welterweight Nathan Brough has been forced to pull out as he will not be able to make the weight.
