The 24-year-old has 19 wins from 24 bouts and is confident of getting the better of Borg despite admitting the fight is a tough one in which to make his return.

Confident

"I'm determined to put the record straight," he told the Bristol Post. "This is a fresh start for me and I feel I've matured and learned a lot in the last six months.

"My training and preparation is very different now and I'm concentrating on technique a lot more. I know this is a difficult fight to take for my comeback, but it is one I believe I can win.

"Coming back at championship level is a great opportunity and I aim to take it. I know I'm going into Borg's own back yard and that he has not been beaten before, but I am the one with the experience.

"I'm still only 24 and there is plenty of time for me to get back to the top level domestically and achieve the things I want to."
