Daniel Geale: Determined to take his chance
IBF champion Daniel Geale is determined to take his chance against WBA middleweight holder Felix Sturm and unify two world titles.
Sturm will make the 13th defence of his WBA middleweight belt at the Koenig Pilsene Arena in Oberhausen, Germany on September 1.
Geale (27-1) is fully aware of the calibre and ability of his opponent, although he is not shying away from the challenge.
"No doubt, he is the best opponent of my career so far," the Australian told HattonBoxing.
Unification
"But this is a once-in-a-lifetime shot at unifying two world titles.
"I'm motivated like never before and I'm really excited about facing one of the best fighters at middleweight."
Sturm, who has made one successful defence since drawing with Martin Murray last year, is backing himself to add another belt to his collection.
"This will be the biggest fight of my career and believe me, I'm confident that I will not only keep my title but add another one to my name," said Sturm. "This fight is a dream coming true."
