John Murray will defend his European lightweight crown against Karim El Ouazghari at York Hall on April 2.
The undefeated Mancunian will top the bill at the famous Bethnal Green venue when he bids to secure his 31st straight victory since turning pro in 2003.
Spanish champion Ouazghari, who has 11 wins in 12 fights, stepped in to fill the void after a potential 'Battle of Britain' clash with Kevin Mitchell collapsed.
"It's every fighter's dream to headline at the home of London boxing, and I'll be looking to put on a very special display for the fans," Murray told Frankwarren.tv.
"I've seen a few of his fights on the internet and he looks strong with a tremendous left hook. I'm sure he is going to come to London with all guns blazing.
"I've got a world ranking to protect. If I lose then any chance of fighting for a world title will go out the window so there is so much at stake for me."
