Commonwealth champion to use his skills against Booth

Jamie Arthur has vowed to out-box Jason Booth in Saturday's super-bantamweight showdown, live on Sky Sports. Arthur, the Commonwealth champion, will go up against the wily British titlist at the Brentwood Centre. And although Arthur has become better known for his all-action style in recent contests, the man from Cwmbran knows he will have to use his boxing skills against a fighter who is in his 20th title showdown. "The good thing about this fight is that Booth always fights the same way in every fight," Arthur told walesonline.co.uk "And although he is very good and is very sharp, I fight a totally different way for every fight. He will expect me to come at him with big shots and try to break him down. But I will adapt to the fight on the day. "My plan won't be to rush in with big shots. Normally I get into my opponent's face, but not this time. "I have worked on things in training for a certain game plan. On Saturday I am going to out-box him and put pressure on him."

Must-win

Booth, now 33, lost to IBF champion Steve Molitor last time out - and must win to keep his career alive. And his promoter Frank Maloney believes Booth is ready for action. Maloney said: "There are so many fighters that find excuses when they get offered a hard job and don't want to know. "They should take a leaf out of Jason's book. When I have a fight for him, it is when, who and then how much."
