Kell Brook defends his IBF world welterweight title against Frankie Gavin, Kevin Mitchell takes on WBC lightweight champion Jorge Linares, Lee Selby fights Evgeny Gradovich for the IBF featherweight strap and Anthony Joshua stars against Kevin Johnson in a crossroads heavyweight clash.

There is also a packed undercard of domestic dust-ups to plough through first, and Hearn has revealed the cream of American boxing promotion has expressed approval of the scale of the star-studded event.

The Matchroom boss told Sky Sports News HQ at Thursday's final press conference: "It's packed with media, obviously world class-fighters and champions but also some big promoters from around the world.

"Top Rank and Golden Boy are here and they're all saying the same thing: 'Wow. Seven hours of championship boxing, three world title fights and four Brits involved in those fights.'

"The fighters came head to head, there's one more face-to-face at the weigh-in on Friday and then it's on. It's here, it's real.

"As I said to the fighters, good luck to the champions and defend your belt with honour and challengers, this is it. It's your moment you've been waiting for since you were a young child so go out and give it everything because it's your dream.

More from Brook V Gavin

"The champions brought over are very respected world-class operators. Evgeny Gradovich is making the fifth defence of his IBF featherweight title. Lee Selby is a fantastic fighter but has never performed at the kind of level Gradovich has, so he's got it all to do.

"Kevin Mitchell against Jorge Linares is a fight that everybody is anticipating. Linares is a three-weight world champion and if Mitchell can bring home the bacon and win that world title in front of a sold-out 02 Arena, there won't be a dry eye in the house because he's one of the nicest guys in boxing. It's one of those you watch through your fingers.

"Then Kell Brook v Frankie Gavin. It's the first time in history two British fighters have fought for the world welterweight title. Everyone in boxing knows Frankie Gavin. I was talking to James DeGale and his trainer Jim McDonnell the other day and they said he's the most skilful fighter in Britain.

"There's been so much expectation of Gavin over the years and now he gets his chance. Can he live with Brook, who outside of Floyd Mayweather and I actually believe with Mayweather included, is the best welterweight in world boxing? Kell says he's on a 'seek and destroy' mission and he wants to show the world the level he's at.

"People are talking about Brook fighting Khan, Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao but first he has to overcome a young man from Birmingham, a former world amateur champion who has waited his whole life for this moment. Kell has not taken Frankie lightly and that's going to be a fantastic all-British world title fight on Saturday."
