Kid Galahad has vowed to clear his name after being given a two-year ban from boxing over a failed drugs test.
The 25-year-old super-bantamweight claimed brother Mageed spiked his drink and led to the failed test for banned steroid Stanolozol last September.
Mageed, who is in prison for separate offences, has since admitted his guilt and signed a sworn affidavit to the UK Anti-Doping Panel, but Galahad was still handed a ban.
The case is due to be reviewed in the coming weeks but for now Galahad has to sit on the sidelines rather than dream about potential fights with Scott Quigg and Carl Frampton.
Galahad boasts a perfect 18-0 record, with nine of his wins coming via knockout, his last outing in September ending in a points victory over Adeilson dos Santos in Sheffield.
Explaining the ban, Galahad told Sky Sports: "After my last fight, I got notified three weeks after that I failed a drugs test.
"I didn't know what happened. I didn't know what was going on until a few weeks later I found out a family member had actually spiked me. It was a malicious act committed in an argument over money.
"I've been tested six times in the last year and passed every single test until my last fight. I am devastated. I'm going to appeal it."
