Anthony Joshua says he is hopeful there will be a world title on the line when the time comes for him to meet fellow British heavyweight Tyson Fury.

A fight between Olympic gold medal winner Joshua and current British champ Fury would be a huge showdown in Britain.

And there could be a world title at stake because Fury is in line for a shot at reigning WBA, IBF and WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko in the near future.

Meanwhile, the impressive Joshua will bid to make it 12 wins from as many fights as a pro when he fights Raphael Zumbano Love in Birmingham on Saturday, before stepping up in class against Kevin Johnson of America three weeks later.

The 25-year-old has an eye on even bigger fights in the future and is willing to wait until Fury gets his world title shot before taking him on.

"I think Fury will vacate the British title,” said Joshua. “Or, if there's a big fight for him, against a contender like myself, he might take it.

If Fury was to win against Klitschko it would be great for boxing, and for me to fight him for a world title would obviously be bigger than fighting for the British.

"He's stuck between a rock and a hard place. I think he's got that mandatory shot against Klitschko and that's why he'll vacate the British belt, because he's got bigger opportunities.

"It would be amazing to fight him for the world title, especially if it was in the UK, rather than having to go abroad and fight the likes of Klitschko.

"Deontay Wilder (the WBC heavyweight champion) would be good for me because it's in America, the Mecca of boxing.

"But if Fury was to win against Klitschko it would be great for boxing, and for me to fight him for a world title would obviously be bigger than fighting for the British.

"It would be huge. Heavyweight boxing is different, it's a league of its own and creates that interest.

"If he's got the world title belt it's good, because there's lots of young talent he can face which will create interest in the division. We're in a good place with the heavyweights in this country."
