Liverpool boxer Sophie Colebourn booked her place in Sunday's England Elite boxing lightweight final with a hard-fought win over Alana Murphy at the Liverpool Echo Arena.

Murphy caught Colebourn with several decent counter punches in the first round but the Liverpool teenager hit back with decent shots of her own.

Colebourn dominated the second as she pushed Murphy back, and although the the third round was close, the Liverpudlian's intensity and aggression in the fourth ensured she won the semi-final by a unanimous decision.

Colebourn will face Chantelle Cameron in Sunday's final after she beat Hebden Bridge fighter Hatty Nylon in another  unanimous points decision in her last-four clash.
