Jamie Moore questions whether Floyd Mayweather is the greatest, urges Amir Khan to aim higher and reveals his big fight entourage.

Is Floyd Mayweather the greatest of all time?

Sugar Ray Robinson

I understand what he means, because technically he might be a better boxer than Muhammad Ali. But Sugar Ray Robinson, with the fights he was involved in, and the longevity of his career, the risks he took – there is loads of different aspects for you to look at and decide. Don’t forget this is only opinion and he can say what he wants, it will never be proved. My personal opinion is that Sugar Ray Robinson is probably the greatest fighter that we have ever seen. Mayweather has faced an unbelievable list of champions over the years, but I just feel that when we look back in time, I think Sugar Ray Robinson could just nick it.

Would George Groves rather face Anthony Dirrell or Badou Jack?

The ideal situation there would be for Badou Jack to come through. Style wise, I think George Groves would be better suited to him. Groves likes someone to come to him as he can work off the back foot. Jack has not got the same experience and all-round he’s the better opponent for Groves, but I have a feeling that Dirrell will come through and he'll be next up for George.

I have watched potential opponents in the past during my boxing career. I went to watch Scott Dixon, who had beaten me earlier in my career, and was hoping to get a rematch. Unfortunately he was losing the fight and as he came out for the eighth round, he looked down to ringside and I shrugged my shoulders as if to say: “What are you doing? You’re losing!”

Can James DeGale look past his domestic rivals if he wins a world title?

Image: James DeGale: Has targeted Andre Ward and Arthur Abraham

It’s a little bit of mind games from James DeGale. I just think he’s trying to annoy George Groves because those two have got past history. Any opportunity that he gets, he likes to give him a bit of a wind-up. Close to his heart, he will always want to avenge that loss.

I think he may well look at someone like Arthur Abraham, who is made for someone like DeGale. The only problem would be getting him out of Germany and I don’t think you would. But he could outbox him to the point that there is no disputing the fact that he wins it. That is how confident I would be that James DeGale would beat someone like Arthur Abraham.

Andre Ward is a big ask. If he wins the world title, I don’t think his first defence should be against Ward, who is regarded as the best super-middleweight around. Abraham would be a good shout, but I would be looking towards a fight with Groves, a big domestic fight, and to try and avenge that loss.

Should Amir Khan target Manny Pacquiao if he loses on May 2?

I think it’s a strange comment to come out with, because I would be expecting Amir to say he wanted to face the winner. I don’t think he should be thinking about boxing the loser. He is right up there in the ratings of the division and if Floyd Mayweather does come through and win then he’s going to be looking at the next top welterweights in the world and Amir brings a lot of money to the table. He’s got a lot of backing from people across the world. He’s definitely going to be in the mix if Mayweather wins and also if Pacquiao wins. He shouldn’t be talking about boxing Pacquiao as a loser, because potentially he could be facing him as a winner.

Who would be in your big fight entourage?

Keith Lemon

I would probably bring Bez out of the band 'Happy Mondays' to do a little bit of dancing on the way to the ring for the Manchester side of things.

Keith Lemon would also have to be in there, because he’s the funniest man on the planet. I like it nice and laid back in the changing rooms, sort of like a party atmosphere, and who would be better than Keith to come in there and get everyone laughing and relaxed.

For my post-fight demands, I would have my water at a certain temperature and a wheelie bin full of Boost chocolate bars.
