Carl Froch's WBA and IBF super middleweight showdown with George Groves could be a fight of two halves, predicts Sky Sports pundit Johnny Nelson.
Nelson believes Groves could win the first six rounds against Froch before the champion begins to catch up with his younger challenger during Saturday's Sky Sports Box Office clash.
Former cruiserweight champion Nelson was ringside when George Groves performed for the public during an open workout in west London on Tuesday.
"He's talking supremely confident," Nelson said on Sky Sports News. "So you've got to think George Groves could pull this off.
"I would be very surprised if Carl Froch won one of the first six rounds because George Groves has speed, he has youth and an amazing jab, he has excellent movement.
"But it's after those six rounds Carl will be playing catch-up to close him down and eventually to try to stop him later on in the fight.
"You can make an argument for both fighters easily, it's not a foregone conclusion. So please don't write George Groves off because this kid could create an upset."
