David Price: Boasts a considerable height advantage over veteran Matt Skelton
Heavyweight giant David Price is anything but short, except when it comes to Sky Bet's odds on him defending his British and Commonwealth titles on Friday night.
Price makes the second defence of his straps against Matt Skelton at Aintree Equestrian Centre, with the Liverpudlian overwhelming favourite for victory.
Sky Bet go 1/33 for an outright win for Price, with Skelton a long shot at 11/1, but that hasn't stopped punters from backing the underdog, the 45-year-old having received almost as many wagers as his odds-on opponent.
Price is known for not hanging about with his fights, with six first-round wins from his 14 professional fights, and plenty of boxing punters are backing a familiar outcome at 7/2.
Price has never boxed more than seven rounds, such is his knack for knocking out opponents early doors, which is why a win between rounds 7-9 for the 6ft 8 man mountain is considered an outside chance at 7/1.
If Skelton lasts that long though, the seasoned pro could use his experience to exploit Price's questionable stamina, with the underdog 50/1 to win in rounds 7-9 or rounds 10-12.
Sky Bet also offer a small range of Fight Specials, with Price to win inside the opening 60 seconds a fairly short rate of 4/1, while Skelton to do likewise represents the longest odds in the market at 500/1.
