Ricky Burns is returning to the ring on Friday, so who better to set the Scottish scene than Ringside.

We will be building up to Burns' comeback and will have the latest news from Glasgow ahead of our Fight Night Live this week.

Johnny Nelson is still sidelined through injury but Adam Smith will be the host and Sky Sports own Glenn McCrory will be joining him - after admitting he wants the hot-seat this week!

Whatever happens, one of boxing's big names will be on the show...

ANTHONY CROLLA - Who better to look ahead to the Burns Night than one of Britain's finest lightweights? He will run the rule over his divisional rival's return.

COMMONWEALTH GAMES - They will be held north of the border so we drop in on one of the amateur boxing clubs that will provide a third of the Team Scotland

ANDRE WARD -  He tells us how frustrating the last year of his career has been following promotional disputes.

RON LEWIS - One of Britain's leading boxing journalis joins us as he gives us his take on one of the best boxers in the world.

Watch Ringside at 6.00pm, Thursday, on Sky Sports 1, and then head to skysports.com/ringside to catch Ringside Extra afterwards. And, of course, you can get involved via Twitter at @skysportsboxing #ringside.
