The Washington Wizards opened a 2-0 lead in their play-off series against the Chicago Bulls after a 101-99 overtime victory at the United Center.

Bradley Beal led the way on the scoreboard with a 26-point haul for Washington, who at one stage were staring at likely defeat after drifting 87-77 behind in the fourth quarter.

They rallied to tie the game at 91-91 before six points from Nene in overtime spurred the visitors to victory.

Chicago were led by DJ Augustin's 25 points and head to Washington on Friday for the third game in the series.

DeMar DeRozan's 30-point game carried the Toronto Raptors to a series-levelling 100-95 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

They play next on Friday, while the Indiana Pacers and Atlanta Hawks will be back on court on Thursday evening with their series also tied at 1-1.

Indiana were comfortable 101-85 winners against the Hawks on Tuesday night, galvanised by 27 points from Paul George.
