Alex Owumi top-scored for the Wolves with 24 points, while Will Creekmore added a double-double with 21 points and 16 rebounds.
Glasgow only trailed by four points at the end of the first half thanks to 17 points by Gareth Murray on perfect six-of-six shooting, though he added only another four after the break.
The other match on Friday night saw second-placed Newcastle keep the pressure on the current leaders with an 83-77 victory over the London Lions.
The Eagles - who honoured Fab Flournoy before the game after he set a new record for BBL appearances - at one stage went on a 21-2 run to push into a 41-29 advantage.
However the Lions came roaring back to close the gap to two points with five minutes remaining. Newcastle weren't safe until Darius Defoe converted two free throw attempts with just seconds left.
He led all scorers with 22 points and Malik Cooke had 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Flournoy contributed 10 points and five rebounds off the bench.
