British Basketball League: Newcastle beat Surrey United, Leeds Force lose again

Charles Smith brought up a significant career milestone as Newcastle remained top of the British Basketball League.
Smith got the 20 points required to get to 6,000 in his career as the Eagles beat Surrey United 105-78.
At the other end of the ladder, Leeds Force remain without a win this season after a 98-69 home defeat to Worcester Wolves.
Alex Owumi poured in 33 points for the visitors, including six from six three-pointers.
London Lions also won on Friday, beating Plymouth Raiders 87-63 to maintain their 100 per cent start to the campaign.
They are played three, won three, with top-scorer Makal Stibbins (22) one of a trio of players to score 20 points or more.
