Tom Brady: Aiming for Super Bowl glory

Sky Bet

The New England Patriots are 8/13 favourites with Sky Bet to win their fourth Super Bowl by beating the New York Giants (11/8) at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The AFC champions are aiming to avenge their Super Bowl defeat to the Giants at Super Bowl XLII in 2008, when game MVP Eli Manning inspired his side to a hard-fought 17-14 victory to send Tom Brady's men home empty-handed.

A repeat of that Giants winning margin (1-6 points) is available at 4/1, with under 55.5 points in the match available at 10/11. In the handicap market, +3 points for the Giants is evens, while a -3 handicap for the Pats is 5/6.

Sky Bet NFL trader Paul Lowery said: "The bitter memories of their last Super Bowl defeat will still haunt the senior members of this Patriots team.

"There's no doubt that the Giants come in with a lot of momentum, having been playing sudden death football since the start of the year, but New England will have taken huge belief from their showing against a strong Baltimore side."

He added: "I think they will have enough to lift the Vince Lombardi trophy this time around, although the Giants won't make it easy."
