Members of the armed forces in Afghanistan have delivered special festive messages for their families and loved ones via Sky Sports cameras.

Soccer AM's 'Rocket' and Ford Super Sunday's touchline reporter Geoff Shreeves made the trip to Helmand Province to meet troops who will be spending this Christmas away from home.

Both shows scheduled extra special features in their programming last weekend involving servicemen and women.

Soccer AM's regular features including Crossbar Challenge and Skill Skool were staged inside Camp Bastion, while on Sunday Andy Gray and Jamie Redknapp took questions live on Super Sunday from those hoping to gain a greater insight into the teams they support.

In between the live broadcasts and recorded features our cameras caught up with forces members who wanted to send an extra special message home.
