After putting Toulouse out of the Heineken Cup, the semi-final draw did not make things any easier for Leicester as they were given an away draw even if they manage to dump Toulon out of the tournament.

Richard Cockerill's side edged out Toulouse at a snowy Welford Road, and their reward is an away tie with Toulon in the quarter-finals, which take place on April 5-7.

Heineken Cup:

Quarter-finals:
Ties to be played April 5-7
Harlequins v Munster
Clermont v Montpellier
Toulon v Leicester
Saracens v Ulster

Semi-finals:
Ties to be played April 26-28
Saracens/Ulster v Toulon/Leicester
Clermont/Montpellier v Harlequins/Munster

Saracens' late bonus point win gave them a home quarter-final tie against last year's runners-up Ulster, who won on Saturday but had to wait to see if they could play at home or would face a trip away from Northern Ireland.

Munster's win over racing Metro not only dumped out reigning champions and winners of three of the last four Heineken Cups Leinster, but it also gave them a place in the last eight when they will head over to England to face Harlequins.

There will be an all-French clash in the final quarter-final as Clermont play host to Montpellier after they made it through their respective groups.

In the semi-finals, which will be played April 26-28, Leicester or Toulon have been drawn away to the winner of the game between Saracens and Ulster.

It does mean the prospect of an all-Premiership semi-final taking place with the winner then heading to the final in Dublin.

The second semi-final sees whoever wins between Quins and Munster set to make a trip to France to play either Clermont or Montpellier.

In the Amlin Cup, Heineken Cup champions Leinster now enter the secondary European competition and they will head to London to play Wasps in the quarter-finals.

Amlin Cup:

Quarter-finals:
Ties to be played April 5-7
Bath v Stade Francais
Gloucester v Biarritz
Perpignan v Toulouse
Wasps v Leinster

Semi-finals:
Ties to be played April 26-28
Perpignan/Toulouse v Bath/Stade Francais
Wasps/Leinster v Gloucester/Biarritz

Biarritz also drop into the competition from the Heineken Cup and travel to Gloucester in the quarters, with Toulouse the final side to drop down but they will stay in France and play away at Perpignan.

Bath's home tie with Stade Francais completes the last eight line-up in the Amlin Cup.

The winners of that tie will be heading to France to play Perpignan or Toulouse in the first semi-final.

The winners of the Wasps v Leinster game was drawn at home in the semi-finals to the winner of the clash between Gloucester and Biarritz.
