Thanksgiving is the most American of holidays and back in the USA this occasion is celebrated with a Turkey Feast & NFL games.

The Detroit Lions started playing on Thanksgiving regularly back in 1934. Dallas jumped on the bandwagon in 1966 & the NFL added a 3rd game in 2006 that is not team specific.

So we've got three cracking games for you this year, with the Green Bay Packers, hanging on to their play-off hopes after this week's tie, heading to Motor City to kick off the festivities against the Lions.

Next up is our traditional trip to Dallas, with the Cowboys hoping to continue their play-off push with a home encounter with the 4-7 Oakland Raiders.

There's no love lost in the final game of the day, which should provide a punishing end to the celebrations as AFC North rivals Pittsburgh and Baltimore go head-to-head at the home of last season's Super Bowl champions.

So sit down, relax, and enjoy around 11 hours of NFL action with Sky Sports in your own home - or if you want to party like the Americans do then you can head out in Leicester Square in London and you could possibly see yourself on our screens.

This year we are sending Laura Woods to The Hippodrome in Leicester Square to gather opinions of the fans watching our exclusively live coverage on the big HD screens they have at this newly refurbished venue.

The Hippodrome shows the Sky Sports coverage of the NFL every Sunday and is rapidly becoming the first choice for NFL fans to meet up to watch Sky Sports NFL coverage in London.

So, if you want to enjoy Thanksgiving with friends or family, why not meet up with them at The Hippodrome this Thursday & if you catch Laura's eye, you might even find yourself as part of the coverage!

Sorry no under 18s are allowed into The Hippodrome.

Live coverage starts at 5.30pm on Sky Sports 1 for these 3 games: Green Bay @ Detroit, Oakland @ Dallas and Pittsburgh @ Baltimore.
