Super Bowl XLVIII: Peyton Manning impressed by Seattle Seahawks

Rivals ready for battle
Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has no doubt about the challenge he will face against the Seattle Seahawks defence on Sunday.
Manning has enjoyed the best season of his distinguished career, throwing for a record 5,477 yards and 55 touchdowns - and helping guide the Broncos past the magical 600-point barrier for the season.
In the Seahawks, though, the Broncos will be coming up against the NFL's meanest defence this season - with the 'Legion of Boom' forcing 39 turnovers en route to Super Bowl XLVIII.
And Manning has been impressed with what he has seen from the Seahawks defence.
"They are a smart defence and they communicate well, so they do a good job pre-snap and post-snap," he said.
"It is hard to make comparisons to other sides as I haven't played against them in the regular season, just twice in pre-season - and then just the first half of both games so I am not sure how much weight that carries.
"However their intelligence, their ability to play together and their communication shows up on the game film alone, so there's no doubt that will carry over when we play against them."
Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is the leader of the Legion of Boom, having made eight interceptions as well as the game-winning deflection in NFC Championship game.
And he can't wait test himself against the best at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford.
"These are the best two teams in the NFL and it is the best quarterback maybe in NFL history," he said.
"It is going to be a tremendous challenge for both sides and that is what makes the game so big and so fun.
"It is going to be great for the fans, great for the NFL because you have the best teams and some of the best players in the world going at each other and at the end of the day someone has to win and someone has to lose."
