NFC Championship Game: Seattle Seahawks' Richard Sherman blasts Michael Crabtree

Richard Sherman launched a stinging attack on Michael Crabtree after the Seattle Seahawks' victory in the NFC Championship Game.
The Seahawks booked a place in the Super Bowl after cornerback Sherman tipped a potentially game-winning pass away from San Francisco 49ers receiver Crabtree at the end of the fourth quarter.
Sherman's coverage had helped hold Crabtree to four receptions for 52 yards and after the game the Seahawks star made his feelings about the wideout clear.
"I'm the best corner in the game. When you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree that's the result you're going to get. Don't you ever talk about me," he told Fox Sports.
"Crabtree - don't you open your mouth about the best or I'm going to shut it for you real quick."
Even after being given time to cool down, Sherman was in no mood to take back his words when speaking at the post-game press conference.
"He wouldn't make the top 20 of NFL receivers. If any team had a chance to pick Crabtree, they wouldn't draft him," he said.
Sherman added: "I was making sure everyone knew Crabtree was a mediocre receiver. And when you try the best corner in the game with a mediocre receiver, that's what happens.
"I appreciate that he knows that now. There has been a lot of talk from him running his mouth about me."
