Seattle are expected to be without Percy Harvin for their NFC Championship showdown against San Francisco on Sunday.

The wide-receiver, who missed the first 10 weeks of the regular season following hip surgery in August, suffered a concussion in last week's win over New Orleans and has not been cleared to practice.

Harvin had to be helped off the field after taking a huge hit from Saints free safety Rafael Bush, who was penalised for unneccesary roughness.

The 25-year-old is continuing to be evaluated by Seahawks medical staff, but he is running out of time to be cleared to face the 49ers at CenturyLink Field.

The NFL have a strict concussion protocol in place, and Harvin must undergo a number of tests conducted by independent neurologists before being given the green light to play.

But Seahawks coach Pete Carroll had better news on linebacker KJ Wright, who has been sidelined since suffering a broken bone in his foot against the 49ers on December 8.

Wright returned to full practice on Thursday, and Carroll revealed his availability for Sunday's game looks "promising".

Defensive tackle Jordan Hill was able to train on a limited basis as he recovers from a groin strain, and star running back Marshawn Lynch practised on Thursday after sitting out Wednesday's session as a precaution.
