Peyton Manning: Throw four touchdown passes against San Diego
Peyton Manning and Demaryius Thomas stole the show as the Denver Broncos edged out San Diego Chargers 28-20.
Manning completed 25-of-36 passes for 330 yards and four touchdowns - with the 37-year-old connecting with Thomas on three occasions.
With interim coach Jack Del Rio in charge as John Fox continues his recovery from heart surgery, the Broncos moved to 8-1 for the season despite a late rally from the Chargers.
Manning and Julius Thomas linked up for a 74-yard touchdown off Denver's first drive before the Chargers attempted to claw their way back into the match.
Nick Novak kicked field goals from 26 and 40 yards to cut the deficit to just one point, however the Broncos cut loose in impressive fashion.
Manning's 11-yard TD pass found Demaryius Thomas for his opening score in the second quarter - with the duo linking up again on the next drive from seven yards.
It soon became three drives and three scores for Thomas, with Manning's 34-yard pass helping the Broncos into a 28-6 lead.
The Chargers, though, refused to lie down and they came storming back into the game.
Philip Rivers, who threw for 218 yards, connected with Danny Woodhead with a seven-yard scoring pass after Tourek Williams had initially forced a fumble from Manning.
Ryan Mathews then rushed over from a yard in the fourth quarter to give the Chargers (4-5) hope, however the Broncos were able to hold on for the win.
