Michael Vick will be playing for the Philadelphia Eagles again in 2013 after both parties agreed on a restructured contract.

The former Atlanta Falcons quarterback will compete with second-year QB Nick Foles, who replaced the 32-year-old in the second half of last season after he was sidelined with concussion.

The NFC team are not ruling out additional signings while the new deal does not guarantee Vick the club's starting position next season.

Vick joined the Eagles in 2009 and has started 35 games in three seasons, throwing 50 touchdown passes while being picked off 30 times.

Philadelphia have a new head coach in 2013 after Chip Kelly replaced Andy Reid and the club's tactician is well aware of Vick's talent and ability.

"I've followed Michael's career and I understand what a talent he is," he told the club's official website. "But there is nothing that's on the board right now, there's nothing that's off the board right now.

"Our sole focus and goal is that we're going to put an offence on the field that's going to score points. That's basically what we're going to do and whoever that is, I don't know that ... There's nobody ruled in, there's nobody ruled out at this point in time."
