The Baltimore Ravens secured the AFC North title on Sunday after they toppled the New York Giants 33-14.

Joe Flacco led the way for the Ravens (10-5) as he completed two touchdown passes and threw for 309 yards.

The Ravens were quickly out of the blocks, scoring on their first two possessions - with the arrival of Jim Caldwell as offensive coordinator having a clear impact.

Flacco connected with Torrey Smith from six yards, while the quarterback rushed over from a yard.

David Wilson rushed over from 14 yards to give the defending NFL champions hope, but the match was effectively over at half-time.

Justin Tucker slotted over a field goal and then Flacco's 27-yard TD pass to Ray Rice gave the Ravens a 24-7 lead at half-time.

Tucker added three further field goals after the interval, meaning Peyton Manning's 13-yard pass to Domenik Hixon was little more than consolation.

The Giants are now out of running for the NFC East title - and are in danger of missing the play-offs, having now lost five of their last seven matches.
