Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is set to return from injury against the Washington Redskins on Sunday.

McCoy has missed the last four games after sustaining a concussion in the Eagles' previous contest with the Redskins but has now been cleared to play.

Bryce Brown has enjoyed a productive spell while filling in for McCoy and Eagles head coach Andy Reid says his first-choice back will have a limited workload against Washington.

"I'm going to keep a close eye on him. It won't be a normal workload like you'd see during the season. He's coming off an injury," Reid said of McCoy.

"I understand that, so I'll keep a close eye on it. He'll work in as the starter and then Bryce has some valuable experience that he's gained over the last few games here so he'll be in there. Dion (Lewis), he'll be up too."

Reid dismissed any suggestions that he considered letting McCoy sit out the rest of the season with the Eagles out of the play-off race at 4-10.

He added: "Listen, we're all part of the team. We're not a hierarchy that way, that's not how it works. If you're healthy you play.

"LeSean understands that. Our team understands that. That's how you go about business. LeSean wouldn't want it any other way and that's how I feel about it."
