Doug Martin: Rushed for 251 yards against Oakland in Tampa's 42-32 success
Three unanswered third-quarter touchdowns helped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 42-32 win over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer threw four touchdown passes for the home side but it was Doug Martin who did the damage for Tampa with 251 rushing yards and getting into the end zone four times.
Oakland led 10-3 at half-time courtesy of Sebastian Janikowski's field goal and Rod Streak's 25-yard reception while Bucs QB Josh Freeman found Vincent Jackson from 20 yards out.
Tampa dominated the third, though, with Martin scoring twice and Freeman finding Mike Williams with a four-yard reception.
The Raiders showed signs of life in the fourth quarter Palmer throwing touchdown passes to Brandon Myers twice along with finding Marcel Reece, but two further rushing scorers from Martin ensured the visitors claimed the victory.
The win means Tampa are now 4-4 on the season in the NFC South, four games behind unbeaten Atlanta while Oakland drop to 3-5 in the AFC West.
