Ashkan Dejagah frustrated by lack of playing time at Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg striker Ashkan Dejagah has revealed his frustration at a lack of first-team football.
The 24-year-old striker signed a new deal with the Bundesliga outfit this summer but has failed to cement a regular starting position.
He has made seven appearances this season, all as a substitute, but insists he has not given up hope of forcing his way into the starting XI.
Difficult
"Being at Wolfsburg is a difficult situation for me as a player," he told Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper.
"I am longing to play first-team football and I am unable to do so here.
"Nothing has been changed in regard to my situation since the start of the season.
Change
"I am unable to change things; the only thing left for me to do is to continue training well.
"I have not regretted signing a new deal with the club this summer and I have still been promised a chance to play first-team.
"I am actually waiting on this opportunity to come!"
