Guillermo Ochoa will carefully consider his future options, amid claims from his agent that Barcelona are among 20 clubs keeping an eye on the Mexico goalkeeper.

Ochoa produced a magnificent performance to help Mexico hold World Cup hosts Brazil to a goalless draw on Tuesday and reportedly attract the interest of teams across Europe.

He is currently a free agent following the expiry of his contract with French club Ajaccio and has previously stated that he would like to stay in France.

But his exploits against Brazil have boosted his profile and Ochoa is happy to take time over deciding his next move.

"I am not worried about what is being said about where I could continue my career, my agent takes care of those things", Ochoa told Mediotiempo.

"I am staying calm, as there are options and there is a lot of time for analysing which is the best."

It's true that having a match like I had against Brazil is a good advertisement for a goalkeeper.

Ochoa added: “It's true that having a match like I had against Brazil is a good advertisement for a goalkeeper."

Jorge Berlanga, Ochoa’s agent, says that he has held talks with a plethora of clubs, including Barcelona.

He said: "I have spoken with Barcelona, yes, in the same way that I have done with 20 other teams.

“I spoke about the possibility of Memo, I offered him to Barcelona, that is true."

Berlanga continued: "The match that Memo played against Brazil changed everything because the World Cup shows you to the whole world.

“We will keep on having conversations with the teams that we were already in touch with, but we will also listen to those that have started to approach me now.”
