West Ham youngster Jordan Brown has left the club to join Barnet while winger Pablo Barrera is closing in on a move back to Mexico.
Brown signed for the Hammers as a 15-year-old in 2007 but failed to make a single first-team appearance for the club, enjoying loan spells at Aldershot and Crewe last season.
The club decided against offering him a new contract after his original deal expired at the end of last season, meaning he was available on a free transfer.
League Two side Barnet have moved quickly to snap up the youngster, with Bees head coach Mark Robson delighted to have him on board.
"Jordan is a player I've known about for a while now. He's had a good upbringing at West Ham," he said.
Develop and prosper
"I really want to help him develop and prosper as a Bee and I believe he will do that here."
Meanwhile, Mexcian flop Barrera is poised to end his nightmare spell in east London with a move back to his homeland.
The Hammers paid Club Universidad Nacional £3million for the 25-year-old in the summer of 2010 but he made just six appearances in his first season before spending the last campaign on loan at Real Zaragoza.
Barrera is now set for a permanent move away from Upton Park with Cruz Azul poised to wrap up a deal for the forward.
"We only need to fix some details with West Ham about incentives," Cruz Azul president Guillermo Alvarez Macias said.
