Chile defender Roberto Cereceda is the unlucky player to have been dropped from Marcelo Bielsa's final 23-man squad.
Bielsa originally named a 30-strong preliminary party before cutting five players to leave him with 25.
Striker Hector Mancilla was let go days later and Cereceda has now been confirmed as the man to miss out on the final squad.
It is not a surprising decision as Cereceda was only selected initially as cover for Marco Estrada, who was injured in April but who has since recovered.
Bielsa's squad is dominated by players plying their trade in Europe, including West Brom defender Gonzalo Jara and former Liverpool winger Mark Gonzalez, now at CSKA Moscow.
Chile have been in fine form ahead of the World Cup and will be confident of progressing from a group that also contains Spain, Switzerland and Honduras.
