South Korean striker feels settled with life as a Gunner

Arsenal striker Chu-Young Park has said he is close to reaching his peak fitness after adapting to a new life in England. Park joined the Gunners from French club Monaco before the close of the transfer window and, with regular training, the South Korea captain insists he is ready to hit his best form for his new club. The 26-year-old returns to London from the international break having scored in his fifth consecutive appearance for his country. The striker opened his account for Arsenal last month with the winner against Bolton in the Carling Cup but despite needing time to settle the young forward feels in good condition now.

Train

"I couldn't train much for about two months before I moved here, I just had to do some personal training instead," Park told the club official website. "Since I joined the team it has been two months and I feel like I am in my normal condition now. The coaches adjust the training depending on the games we play and it's good. "I am settling off the pitch as well. "All the Arsenal staff and everyone else have helped me. Also my wife is here so I don't have many problems settling down. "It's pretty good, I don't have any problems living here and I am not a fussy eater so I don't have problems with the food either!"
