Strikers Lacina Traore and Seydou Doumbia have been left out of the Ivory Coast's World Cup squad.
Traore spent the second half of last season on loan at Everton from Monaco but only made one start for the Premier League club because of a hamstring problem.
He featured in Ivory Coast's friendly defeat against Bosnia last week but his performance was not enough to earn a spot in the final squad.
CSKA Moscow's Doumbia is another player cut from the initial party but Premier League stars Kolo Toure, Cheick Tiote, Yaya Toure and Wilfried Bony all made the cut.
Liverpool defender Kolo Toure made the squad despite being diagnosed with malaria last week and he is expected to recover from the illness this week.
