Goalkeeper eager for Wigan move
Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson is hoping to secure a reunion with Steve Bruce at Wigan Athletic.
Kingson is understood to be a target of Bruce, who is without the injured Chris Kirkland, and he could join the Latics after being released by Birmingham in the summer.
As he is a free agent Kingson could still move to the JJB Stadium outside of the transfer window.
And the 30-year-old is eager to again join forces with Bruce after working under the current Wigan boss at former club Birmingham.
He told Kick Off Ghana: "Very soon I will be back in action. I am hoping the move goes through to Wigan Athletic.
"Steve Bruce has shown a lot of faith in me. At Birmingham he was good to me, maybe because I showed him I am a true professional. But I made mistakes in England and have learned from them.
"I am in no doubt that if I get my chance again I will prove the first was just a minor dip and not the real me."
