Julio Cesar has heaped praise on Brazil's managerial team after sealing his move to Toronto.
Toronto sealed a loan move for the Queens Park Rangers keeper on Friday, and he is more than pleased to have joined the MLS outfit.
Cesar told Globo Esporte how happy he was with Brazilian management duo Luis Felipe Scolari and Carlos Alberto Parreira, who have stood by him despite not playing for QPR this season.
"What Luis Felipe Scolari and Carlos Alberto Parreira have been doing for me is incredible," he said.
"I think the time came for me to help them somehow, by playing as it was very complicated to be in the Brazilian national team without playing, as competition is very fierce. The pressure is huge, the demands too, especially on them both.
"I never feared being out of the national team as my relation with Scolari and Parreira has always been very open."
Cesar explained why he couldn't join a team in Brazil or Europe.
"We couldn't reach a contract agreement that was good for everyone, that's the truth," he explained.
"I did talk with some clubs in Brazil and Europe but the truth is that no agreement could be reached due to disagreements over small details."
